“Jamtara” is back with another season, and this time the phishing cases will reach their ultimate extent. This crime-drama Netflix series highlights the lives of young individuals caught in the world of fraudulent calls and messages. The story revolves around the lives of Sunny and the antagonist, Brajesh Bhaan. The finale of season one ended on an ambiguous note, and in this season, all the cliffhangers will be cleared out. As per the first season, the cops managed to conduct a discreet operation to arrest Brajesh, and they involved Sunny’s wife Gudiya in the process too. Soon, the cops caught him red-handed, and both Gudiya and Sunny made an escape for their lives. But Sunny was shot down, and the series ended with a massive cliffhanger. Season 2 of “Jamtara” will enlighten the viewers about Brajesh’s next move. The last time Brajesh was bailed out, the whole blame landed on Gudiya. She was arrested for stealing and framing Brajesh, and Gudiya had no choice but to accept her mistakes. Well, destiny had planned something bigger and better for her. Gudiya manages to impress another powerful politician named Ganga Devi, and she quickly involves her in politics. Ganga Devi wanted to rule on “Jamtara,” and this was only possible through Gudiya’s win since she was Brajesh’s best enemy.
To break Brajesh’s pride, Gudiya is the best candidate, so this time she will face Brajesh at the elections. Even though Gudiya was busy with her election campaign, she didn’t stop her phishing business. She undertook more children to work with, and their parents even promised to provide her with votes. Sunny informed Gudiya that politics could ruin her life, but she had no choice. On the other hand, Brajesh came up with several plans to kill her as well. Luckily, she managed to save herself from the accident and the fire. Gudiya wanted to open up to the villagers to enlighten them about Brajesh’s fake persona. But his men interrupted the whole rally and opened fire at Gudiya. But Brajesh didn’t stop there. He confidently harassed and threatened her to step down. Meanwhile, her relationship with Sunny was improving. Even though the duo had a contractual marriage, they managed to sort out their differences. However, the couple got into a massive fight when Gudiya revealed that the firing was staged.
But things took a different turn when Sunny was arrested for a phishing case. Gudiya wanted to resolve this issue as it could heavily affect her position as a politician in “Jamtara.” But this wasn’t the only problem. Brajesh was trying to persuade Ganga Devi as well, and their union could turn out deadly for her existence. Moreover, people stopped attending her rallies, so Gudiya received death threats from Ganga Devi. There were ten days left, but Gudiya had no financial or emotional support to win the elections. Ganga Devi wanted Sunny and Gudiya to pay her all the money that came from their phishing business. Now, a helpless Gudiya had no choice but to request for everyone’s votes. She met everyone personally, but none of them were ready to work for her.
Soon, Gudiya came up with a plan to bring in all the helpless girls who were married off to the “Jamtara” scammers. These women played an essential role in Gudiya’s life since they all supported her with hefty payments. In return, Gudiya promised to save them from their dreadful married life. Soon, the girls began working for Gudiya, but Ganga Devi expected more popularity. So, she decided to set up one of Brajesh’s workers to sell illegal meat, and this helped her to defame Brajesh. The people of “Jamtara” started hating Brajesh and even attacked him during one of his rallies. To resolve this conflict, Brajesh killed his worker and gained sympathy from the villagers. On the other hand, Gudiya and Rocky worked together to abduct Rinku, as he was the sole reason behind Brajesh’s success. Over a few months, Rinku had managed to extort lakhs of money from people, and Brajesh needed his support to win the election.
Gudiya had to sacrifice multiple things to win the elections, and this time she used the extortion money to bribe the whole village for votes. Everything was going well until Rocky was caught red-handed, being responsible for the abduction of Rinku and all the other men that worked under Brajesh. Well, Rocky extorted money from them and stored it for future use, but he gave up all the money to promote Gudiya’s win in the elections. Brajesh killed Rocky, and this changed the whole direction of the series, and now it was finally the day of the elections. Soon, people placed their votes, and Gudiya won the MLA’s position, defeating Brajesh Bhaan. A devastated Brajesh sulked over his defeat since this win could destroy his political tenure. The second season ends on an ambiguous note as well, and this major cliffhanger will be responsible for the whole build-up of the upcoming season.
