In the fifth episode of “The Exchange,” Munira and Farida struggled with Saud and Khalifa’s proposal. No matter what, Saud would continue to try to force Munira into marriage, but she knew that the outcome might cause her huge harm. All these years, Munira didn’t want to get married because men controlled the world, and she knew that her life would be doomed. Meanwhile, Jude got into a huge fight with her classmates because they insulted Farida for her job. Omar decided to pick her up from school, and Farida had to wait for dinner.
“The Exchange” Episode 6 began with Jude’s family dinner, but Farida couldn’t help but focus on her husband’s duality. Farida wanted Jude to study at the British school, whereas Omar refused to pay for the tuition fees, but now he had been pretending to be in front of his daughter since he had been trying to portray the image of an understanding father to manipulate Jude. Even though Farida couldn’t handle things with Jude, Omar benefited from this issue and used it to avenge Farida. At first, he’d disagreed to pay her tuition fees, but now he was putting on a show and offered to split the payment. But Omar had one condition: he wanted Farida to quit her job. It was clear that Omar envied her current status and fame in society and wanted Farida to step down since she would earn more respect from society. Farida had realized that the world had been suffering from a huge meltdown with stocks, and she instantly realized that she had to get back to work as soon as possible.

The Great Crash: Black Monday
Farida’s father stopped her from leaving at midnight, but she had to because work was extremely important, and currently, her company had been suffering losses. The meltdown was so serious that investors had been comparing it to the Great Crash of 1929. This incident was inspired by the real-life issue of the Wall Street Crash, which lasted for more than two months when the New York Stock Exchange suffered serious losses. Farida couldn’t concentrate on her work and ended up crashing her car into Munira’s car. The series highlighted a real-life incident from 1987 where the world had to suffer from a global collapse in the stock market, which they termed “Black Monday.” Prominent countries like Singapore and Hong Kong suffered from a huge collapse which brought back something approaching the Great Depression and a huge loss in the industrialization of several countries. Meanwhile, Saud decided to come up with a plan to get major benefits from the collapse. Amir didn’t like any of his plans since they were reckless and would lead to huge problems. He wanted Saud to create a plan that might help with the crisis management process, but things did not end well.
Despite all the problems around them, Saud continued to hound Munira about marrying him. She had been pretty upset about his behavior towards the global issue and decided to cut off her relationship with Saud. Instead, Saud began insulting Munira and reminded her that he had been the main reason behind her popularity. Munira realized that Saud had been lying about their relationship with Amir and decided to confront him. Saud responded that he wanted to marry Munira and even talked to her father about it. But Munira knew that if she ended up getting married, she would not be allowed to work at her husband’s workplace. The next morning, Saud came up with a different plan, but Amir did not like this one either. Suddenly, Saud couldn’t come up with strategic plans to avoid a crisis. At this point, they had to make sure that the entire team maintained their prices and didn’t fail to sell the shares. Finally, it was time for the bidding, and Saud’s strategy had been working as he decided to buy the maximum number of shares of Mercy Medical. Suddenly, Farida realized that she could save her company and decided to trigger the fire alarm; in this way, the stocks couldn’t be sold or bought.
What Happened With Munira And Farida?
Farida and the team managed to succeed, and Amir thanked them for their strategic insight and partnership. The world was finally recovering, and the stocks had been rising subsequently. Saud suffered from a panic attack and was rushed to the hospital, even though he was fine. Amir fired him from his current position as the portfolio manager and hired Munira instead. He needed his manager to be stable and perseverant, someone who could sort out the right plan to avoid a crisis. Moreover, Sabiha agreed to begin the IPO project with the Bank of Tomorrow! Hasan and Walid were assigned to work under Munira, and all her important tasks would be handled directly by Farida. On the other hand, Amir had decided to help Munira with Nabil’s case, and she didn’t have to pay money for Nabil’s mistake either. Amir knew that Farida had set off the false fire alarm, but this strategy helped them to save millions. Jude and Farida managed to talk with each other, and things worked out because Jude agreed to follow Farida’s plan. Moreover, Omar had been trying to force her to quit the job. Toward the end, Farida and Munira realized that they made a great team and decided to work together throughout their journey at the Stock Exchange.
Farida was finally able to buy a car, and she also managed to figure out her daughter’s fees at the private school. Eventually, Farida realized that she always deserved more and shouldn’t settle for anything less in her life anymore. Sabiha was quite impressed with their alliance and decided to commence the plan properly. Despite all the problems, Munira and Farida became a huge example for the women who were caught up in the web of sexist men and society. The fact that they stood above everyone else at work showed that women are no less than men, and they could be more strategic and tenacious than any other person in the world. Eventually, both the ladies understood their self-worth, and they managed to prove that self-love is more important than anything in the world. Farida fulfilled her duties as a mother and gave Jude a striking example of how she, as a mother, was enough for Jude’s upbringing. On the other hand, Munira proved that she is more than a showpiece, and her talents would continue to flourish across the whole company.
