From a very young age, I’ve always loved the world of fantasy and fairy tales. It’s a realm of pure imagination that lets you escape from reality into a place where everything is possible. There, you can meet characters shaped by your own tastes and preferences. I bet many of you can relate to this feeling. Even now that I’m grown up, the child inside me still dreams of going to Hogwarts, visiting Narnia, and meeting the Hobbits because they’ve become my friends. Why did the Wolfurs want revenge against Prince Matthew?

Once upon a time, there was a prince named Matthew who lived in the magical realm of Kleks Academy. From a young age, he loved to travel on horseback through the enchanted meadows and forests of the academy’s imaginary fantasy world. He often wandered at night, much to his father’s worry, as he knew something awful might happen if the prince wasn’t cautious. And one night, that’s exactly what happened. While wandering in the forest, Prince Matthew was stopped by the Wolfur King. Wolfurs were vengeful creatures, and Matthew had always known about them. Seeing the Wolfur King in his intimidating and terrifying nature in the dark night was horrifying to witness for the young prince. With no other choice, Prince Matthew shot the Wolfur King to save himself, as otherwise he would have wound up dead himself. But it didn’t end well. As the Wolfur King was dying, he clawed at the prince’s body. The Wolfur king was dead, but now Prince Matthew fell sick as well. He became bedridden with a terrible fever that no doctor could cure, no matter how many magic tonics, spells, or charms they used. Then came Doctor Pai Hi Vo. He knew that no ordinary medicine could solve this problem. Only Bogd Khan’s magical cap could save the prince by allowing him to turn into any animal he wished. And do you know what animal Prince Matthew chose? A bird. He was told to become a bird so that the wolves wouldn’t find him. Being vengeful creatures, it was clear the prince would be hunted down, and they would definitely seek revenge. Once the danger was over, the prince could press a button on the cap to turn back into a human. But guess what? The Wolfurs found out that Prince Matthew had been hiding his identity by turning into a bird. They knew it was time to seek revenge and decided to attack Kleks Academy.

Why was Ada invited to the academy?

Ada was a teenage girl who had always lived a lonely life. Even though both of her parents were alive, her father had been missing for as long as she could remember. Her mother spent all her days searching for him in hopes of bringing her husband back and ensuring he was safe. But after all these years, Ada had lost all hope of finding her father. And this situation made her mature quicker than her age, and for that, she had no imagination left. She stopped dreaming about the day she and her father, Alex, would reunite, as she knew that thinking about it too much would only lead to despair. On her 12th birthday, while she was feeling down about her father still being missing, something extraordinary happened. Ada saw a strange-looking creature sitting on the windowpane. It looked like a mix of a human and a bird. She was shocked and thought it might be some kind of joke or someone dressed up for a costume contest. But no, it was actually Prince Matthew. He had come to invite Ada to the magical world of Kleks Academy—a world full of imagination! Ada couldn’t believe what she was hearing until Prince Matthew told her there was a chance she might find her father there. After all, her parents had met and fallen in love at this very Kleks Academy. He also revealed that Ada had great magical powers and could save the academy from danger. Even though Ada didn’t believe much in magic and imagination, she knew she had to find her father. And so, she decided to go to Kleks Academy to bring her family back together and rediscover the magic within herself.

Did Ada save the academy?

When Ada went to the academy, she found out that Professor Ambrose Kleks and Prince Matthew had chosen kids from all over the world. These kids, full of imagination, were fascinated by the beautiful pink meadows of the magical world, where their wildest dreams—like princes, dwarves, unicorns, mermaids, and singing trees—came to life. Ada, however, was too focused on finding her father to be amazed by these wonders. This changed when she met Albert, a quiet and mischievous boy whose personality matched hers perfectly. They became fast friends, and they spent all their days together. Neither of them believed they had any magic or imagination in them. One day, Ada talked to Professor Kleks, who helped her realize that she did have magic inside her. She needed to find it by overcoming her fear and sadness about losing her father. By embracing empathy and trusting her instincts, she could unlock her magic. Ada decided to give empathy a try. Just then, a small wolf-like creature named Snag entered the academy.

Snag, actually a Wolfur, was sent to spy on Ada and Prince Matthew. When Snag betrayed the academy, the Wolfurs captured all the students, Professor Kleks, and even Prince Matthew. But, thankfully, Ada and Albert managed to escape through an imaginary doorway. Sadly, Albert drowned under an iceberg right in front of Ada. This heartbreaking loss made Ada understand the depth of empathy and the pain of losing someone. For the first time in a long while, she felt strong emotions and realized that, with this new sense of empathy, she needed to save the academy. Ada talked to Doctor Pai Hi Vo, who told her she could change the academy’s fate through her imagination. She had to write her own fairy tale in that land by changing the story’s ending. Determined, Ada returned to the academy. She found the magical cap and button that could turn Prince Matthew back into a human. When Ada confronted the Wolfurs, she discovered that their leader, Vincent, was not truly vengeful. She talked him out of his revenge by explaining that war and vengeance would only bring more pain. Ada made Vincent see that Prince Matthew had already suffered by living as a bird for years and deserved empathy. Vincent, moved by Ada’s words, decided to put an end to their plans for revenge. He returned the academy to the students and even allowed the Wolfurs, who weren’t naturally vengeful, to stay and become kinder beings, letting their imaginations fly. Finally, Ada helped Prince Matthew put on the magical cap and turn back into a human after all those years. Together, they saved the academy and created a world where imagination and kindness thrived.

But what about her father? No, Ada did not find her father in the academy. However, her journey at Kleks Academy brought her many new friends. How do we know that? A year later, on her 13th birthday, Ada was surprised by her academy friends at her house. She was filled with joy, and it was wonderful to see Ada being a kid again! The most surprising thing happened at the end. Remember Albert, the first friend Ada made at the academy, who drowned in the iceberg? Guess what? He was very much alive and not human at all. He was a robot! Maybe he was sent to her by her father as a gift to help her make friends because her father knew Ada was lonely and needed a friend. We don’t know for sure, but if this were true, then it’s a lovely thought. But what about the wolves? Even though Vincent chose empathy over revenge, there was still his grandmother, a vengeful creature who might want to seek revenge for the death of the Wolfur King, her brother. It seems like the story of Kleks Academy might not be over yet. There could still be more adventures and challenges ahead for Ada and her friends.
