Hisaab Barabar is not a film about a scam. This new Zee5 Global film is about the power of a common man and his ability to bring down a rich banker. This man keeps fooling his customers until his scam is exposed, as are his corrupt business practices. There are many characters in the movie that work for him, while others are honest, like the lead character, who wants to be treated with respect and dignity.

TTE Radhe Mohan Sharma

The original pan-India actor, R. Madhavan, portrays the role of TTE Radhe Mohan Sharma, who is honest to the tee. He is also known to be a miser, but he is unperturbed by what people think of him. Radhe Mohan is a typical middle-class man who keeps track of every penny that he spends, and one day he notices a small amount missing from his account. This made him question the bank, and the establishment quickly sorted the matter so that it didn’t alarm Radhe Mohan. Radhe Mohan also teaches accounts and mathematics to poor kids for them to understand how to handle their finances. Radhe Mohan, because of his knowledge of the subject, is able to unearth the scam and wants to expose it. Unfortunately, the system is corrupt, and everyone who’s part of it, including the rich banker, goes out of their way to shut down his attempts to close the bank.

Mickey Mehta

Neil Nitin Mukesh is back on the small screen. In Hisaab Barabar, he is a rich brat, Mickey Mehta, who owns ‘Do Bank’ and plans to make a lot of money using that establishment. He is a corrupt businessman who has done a lot of illegal and immoral work to get to the top of the table, including influencing politicians to be on his side. Mickey Mehta is cocky, and he knows it. He is sitting on crores and crores worth of scam money and remains unconcerned that he might get caught. He is unfazed when Radhe Mohan tries to rattle him, and just like any other business, he goes after this middle-class TTE all guns blazing. Mickey Mehta’s influence is never-ending, but he underestimates the power of the common people he is conning.

Poonam Subhash

Kirti Kulhari portrays the role of Poonam Subash, a local commuter Radhe Mohan meets in the local train. They both meet every day and soon begin to hang out. Poonam in the past was rejected by Radhe Mohan during marriage talks, on the excuse she did not get good marks in mathematics. Poonam and Radhe Mohan come close as she is okay with him being a single father. He is in for a shock when he learns she is a police officer who will be investigating his claims that are questioning ‘Do Bank’s’ operations. Poonam cannot play favorites at this point and has to get to the bottom of the case to find out if Radhe Mohan is stating the truth.

Monalisa Yadav

Rashmi Desai, one of the renowned television actresses, is Monalisa Yadav in Hisaab Barabar. Monalisa is Radhe Mohan’s son’s babysitter, and she is considered slightly eccentric. She is working full time as a nanny, and her simple-minded husband keeps changing his job. Monalisa is good at her job and is liked by Mannu, Radhe Mohan’s son. She is also naive, as some of her actions get Radhe Mohan in trouble.

Minister Dayal

Manu Rishi Chhada as Minister Dayal, who is Mickey Mehta’s biggest supporter, and by the looks of it, he receives some kickbacks from the profit ‘Do Bank’ makes all the time. It is not that hard to conclude that Dayal is a corrupt politician and will go out of his way to back Mickey and his illegal money-making strategies. With Dayal’s support, Mickey is able to target Radhe Mohan, and they are successful to some extent. The duo feels invincible at this point.

Kuku Kejriwal

Ishtiyak Khan is Kuku Kejriwal, who works as a credit card salesman in Hisaab Barabar. He is the first person Radhe Mohan meets on entering the ‘Do Bank’ office. Kuku Kejriwal is the first person who comes forward to help Radhe Mohan gather all the details about the scam, but sadly he is punished for it by Mickey Mehta.

Bank Manager Chhada

Rajesh Jais is Bank Manager Chhada, who is the person trying to pacify Radhe Mohan when he raises concerns about money missing from his account. Chhada is a Mickey Mehta loyalist, and he only makes moves as per his boss’ orders. He is also the first person who informs Mickey about Radhe Mohan’s plan to expose the scam and approaches the police. Mickey, however, treats Chhada like any other employee, and he won’t think twice before firing him or throwing him under the bus if things go south for ‘Do Bank.’
