Spoilers Ahead

Who saved the boys?

Mayil, along with his men, showed up and threatened Urandai and his gang to move away from their territory. This proved that Mayil supported Chitappa, Kuttymani, Settu, Pulli, and Vanmathi (ATM). To their surprise, Naidu also reached the spot as a show of support, which put Urandai and his gang on the backfoot. His men suggested he not get into any fight with Naidu’s men as it would be an embarrassment. The boys broke down, as they had not expected help to come their way, especially from Naidu and Mayil.

How did Mayil learn the truth?

The boys asked the reason behind Mayil forgiving them and coming along to save them. Mayil revealed he had assumed Chitappa, Kuttymani, Settu, and Pulli had ratted him out to the police by surrendering a portion of the narcotics they had hidden for him. He took over Aachi Mess as a way to put pressure on them and seek revenge for their actions. Mayil, however, revealed that Naidu had let him know that the boys parted with only a small portion of the illegal drugs to save their establishment from closing down.

As per the flashback, Naidu had shown up at Aachi Mess demanding answers for trapping Mayil, and the boys had revealed they’d saved most of the illegal contraband in the batter. Naidu quickly got rid of the illegal drugs and let Mayil know the boys had always been working for them. This indicates that Chitappa, Kuttymani, Settu, and Pulli were involved in some small-scale crime to earn some extra cash. This was not revealed at the beginning of the show, which was interesting.

Was Urandai working for Ravi?

A flashback revealed that Urandai used to work for Ravi for the longest time. Ravi had established himself as a businessman who built his wealth on illegal work up and down the coast of Chennai. Ravi tried to threaten a medical student who was a representative for a local election and accidentally ended up killing the young boy. Urandai was a loyal henchman who confessed to having killed the representative to save Ravi. Ravi had promised to arrange for his bail in a month or two, but he ignored Urandai the moment he was in prison. Urandai was in prison for a long time until his father had to arrange for hefty bail to get him out. This led to a long-standing feud between Ravi and Urandai.

What was Ravi and Thila’s history?

In the present day, Maran was running errands delivering water bottles at the police commissioner’s office when he came across Thillai’s picture amongst all the criminals. Maran was quick to ask Thillai about his relationship with Ravi. Thillai gladly shared that he and Ravi began as small-time labourers at Kasimedu, a coastal neighborhood in Chennai. Both began their lives with small businesses, and Ravi slowly came to be known as ‘Harbour Ravi’. Around this time, he met and fell in love with Bhargavi. According to Thillai, Bhargavi was a greedy person, and because of her need for more power and money, she tried to push Thillai out of the picture and pushed Ravi into indulging in several illegal business ventures. Thillai did not share the tale of how he ended up in prison, which we believe would be revealed as the show progresses.

What was Bhargavi’s idea to get the bag?

Bhargavi, Ravi’s wife, showed up at his barge after he had been away from home for a while. After learning about Bhargavi from Thillai, it seems this woman could not be trusted, and she would do anything for money. Bhargavi began to ask Ravi about the bag and the contents of it, but he refused to share it with her. Ravi was getting irritated at Bhargavi and her incessant questions until she came up with a plan to get the bag of valuables from Urandai.Bhargavi suggested that they kidnap Urandai’s father, which would force them to bring the bag to the table as a way to barter. Ravi realized his wife was smart, and he put the plan in motion by asking Maran to do the deed.

Was Urandai’s father kidnapped?

Urandai’s father was distressed about Benz’s condition. The doctor who was attending to him also claimed Benz could be bedridden for a long time. Urandai and his father were under a lot of stress, and it was connected to the bag that Benz carried. A lot needs to be unveiled about what led to the mess around this bag that seems to have something of great value to Ravi. Since Ravi and Urandai were rivals, matters will only get worse if the latter learns that Ravi desperately wants the bag. Urandai’s father had to take matters into his own hands to find out where the bag was kept. The bag was the crucial element in the entire story, and it links all the stories to a conclusion.

Urandai’s father found an Aachi Mess bill in Benz’s bag, on which the ‘bag’ was listed. This was the lead he was looking for. Benz, as shown in the beginning of the show, had deliberately placed the bag there to keep it away from the person who was following him to get his hands on the valuables. Urandai’s father reached Aachi Mess discreetly in the hope of getting his hands on the bag. He had hoped the boys would release the bag to him, but that did not happen.

Chitappa, Kuttymani, Settu, Pulli, and Vanmathi (ATM) refused to let go of the bag as they wanted to give it to the actual owner. Vanmathi had seen Benz, which made her and the rest of the group suspicious. They did not know the man was Urandai’s father, and that not parting with the bag would put them in trouble. Urandai’s father probably was not aware of the standoff that happened between his son and the people who ran Aachi Mess. Urandai’s father left Aachi Mess dejected with no bag in hand.

The episode ended with Maran waiting for Urandai’s father to kidnap him as instructed by Ravi. This kidnapping could snowball into something bigger, as it would put Ravi and Urandai in a full-blown gang war. This could also put Thillai in jeopardy as well. The boys who run Aachi Mess might get dragged for not helping Urandai’s father. As Maran’s car hit Urandai’s father, the old man was kidnapped in no time.
