Who did the boys approach for help?
Chitappa, Kuttymani, Settu, Pulli, Vanmathi, Yamini, and Aachi, the cook—all of them were in a dilemma after Mayil took over their mess. None of them were sure how to deal with the situation. The only solution they could think of was to approach Naidu and request him to hand over the restaurant’s key which was with Mayil. A generous Naidu obliged their request, which Mayil did not appreciate. Mayil and Naidu had some ego and power clashes, which resulted in the former getting angry at his brother-in-law for letting the boys go. The boys finally were able to open their restaurant again. Naidu’s driver and some other men came forward to help with moving the empty cartons. Meanwhile, Aachi, the cook and the main decision-maker of the group, sensed they would have to start another business as they could not afford to clash with Mayil.
Why was Naidu angry?
Naidu was angry as Mayil was vocal about his displeasure at letting the boys of Aachi Mess go. Naidu could not take the criticism and began to fight with his wives over their brother’s rude behavior. Mayil pacified his brother-in-law by forgetting his beef with him and said he was determined to work for Naidu till the end, and he wanted to teach lessons to people who do not respect them. He indicated the fact that the boys who ran Aachi Mess needed to be taught a lesson as they did not respect Naidu and his effort to aid them when they wanted to open a food truck.
What was Janaki’s plan of action?
Janaki finally received her joining letter from the police department, which she had been desperately waiting for. Her first posting as assistant commissioner of police was in her home city, Chennai. Her late father, who was also a police officer, predominantly worked in the area she had been assigned to. Her family was excited to see her begin her work as an ACP, and her first target was Thillai. Janaki describes Thillai as the brains behind Ravi the rowdy’s operations and several illegal businesses. While Ravi thrived on his physical power of men who worked with him, Thillai was the one who made important strategic decisions. Janaki finally revealed that Thillai killed her father, which was why he was her first target.
Did Urandai take advantage of the food truck?
Urandai and some of his men reached near the food truck with a man and forced him to get into the food truck, pretending to be one of the employees with Chitappa, Kuttymani, Settu, Pulli, and Vanmathi. These people who ran the food truck could not say no to Urandai because of his power and the number of men he had at his disposal to beat them up. It turns out the police were looking out for the man Urandai forced into the food truck kitchen, and the boys did not like this. Vanmathi, one of the female friends who is a business partner, raised her voice and showcased her displeasure to Urandai. The rowdy was clearly not happy with a woman raising her voice at him and berated the rest of the men in the food truck for putting up with women like her.
What did Ravi reveal to Thillai?
Thillai was at Ravi’s home to discuss the accounts of the water business they had started. Since he was in charge of the business, he felt it was his prerogative to discuss profit or losses. Ravi’s fiancée was not very keen on knowing the money part of the business, while Ravi himself looked distressed. Ravi let Thillai know about the bag he had given to Sampath with some valuables to be given back to him. Sampath was probably the person who was speaking to Benz in the beginning of the show with a bag full of money. This bag could be the one Ravi was referring to. Since Benz was on Urandai’s gang and there was rivalry established between them, a lot needs to be revealed about this bag and how the matter will be handled. Ravi was desperately looking for the bag, and he could not reveal exactly what kind of valuables were in it. Thillai had to be kept in the loop about the workings of Ravi’s business, and this information about a bag full of valuables was one of them.
Who came to meet Thendral?
Thendral followed the address on the business card given by Maran. She came by because she wanted to meet Thillai. He was shocked to see her at his establishment. Both were old lovers and were now here talking about their past and what led to their breakup. Thendral said Thillai disappeared after asking for her to wait for the wedding next week. She went around asking about him to his friends, including Ravi. Many told her he got married and asked her to forget about him. Thendral revealed she heard about him being in jail many years later. Since she ran into him a few days ago, their meeting was a long time coming.
Who was Ravi suspecting in Stephen’s murder?
As Thillai and Thendral were conversing, Stephen walked in, asking for some signatures for their business. As a result, Thendral had to step away. A few seconds into Stephen’s conversation, a gunman shot at him. Since Stephen and Thillai were standing on the first floor, the former fell down after he was hit and died as his face hit the slab. Ravi was convinced that Urandai was behind this murder. But Maran, Thillai’s friend, said Urandai would have celebrated around town for the crime, but ever since Stephen’s death, there has been no noise from their gang. Thillai was convinced by his reasoning, and they now wanted to find out, if not Urandai, then who?
What did Urandai ask from the boys?
The boys who ran Aachi Mess were approached by Urandai’s men, and they claimed Chitappa, Kuttymani, Settu, and Pulli borrowed INR 50,000 from him. Urandai’s men said they would have to return the money with interest, and the amount would go up to INR 90,000. The boys and Urandai conversed about the situation; the rowdy claimed this was his way of getting his revenge on them for letting a woman talk back to him. Since the boys did not stop Vanmathi, he felt it was time to teach all of them a lesson and forced them to have the money ready by the next day.
Who helped the boys in repaying the debt?
Chitappa, Kuttymani, Settu, Pulli, Vanmathi, and Yamini were clueless at this point about how to arrange for the money. Aachi, their mentor and cook, was also out of plans or ideas to avoid dealing with Urandai altogether. This was just Urandai’s way of showcasing his power over what he thought were meek people who would succumb to his tactics. He was a volatile man with no control over his emotions, which was why he went from a helping hand to a dreadful rowdy who had nothing to lose even if the boys could not pay them the debt. He would use his power to dominate them as much as he could. The only person who was willing to help them was the new woman who had joined their group. Her real name was not revealed, but she was nicknamed 3D. She decided to sell some of the gold she had so that the money could be used towards repaying their debt to Urandai.
3D did not want these sincere, hard-working boys to lose their source of income to rowdies like Urandai. It seemed that there was no end to the obstacles they were facing, and Aachi, the cook, felt things didn’t seem to look good from here on. The boys were also helpless at this moment and could not believe they fell for the trap set by Urandai just to destroy them. They would have to overcome this hurdle to save their business from drowning.
Were the boys of Aachi Mess in big trouble?
Chitappa, Kuttymani, Settu, and Pulli were ready with the money to be given back to Urandai’s men. The bunch of unruly men were already near the food truck to collect, and their snide remarks insinuated that these boys may have used the women around them to get the huge amount at such short notice. One of them came forward with money and claimed the person who asked for the debt to be repaid should come and receive it from them, implying they wanted Urandai to collect the money from them. This was a tactic to break Urandai’s ego. He came across as a megalomaniac who could get away with bullying people like them. Urandai was also a toxic male who was not okay with women standing up to him. Vanmathi’s outburst made him angry, and the boys chose to support their partner and not bow down to Urandai’s demands. As the fight began between the boys and Urandai’s men, a distress call went to the said rowdy, and he reached the spot in no time. The fight further continued, which gravely injured everyone who was a part of it. Vanmathi also joined her friends/partner in beating the hooligans.
The episode ended with the boys facing Urandai and his men, who were ready to go for another round of fighting. The boys did not expect Mayil and his men to show up. They did not come to support Chitappa, Kuttymani, Settu, and Pulli in their fight against Urandai; they came here to beat them for defying Mayil and opening their restaurant. The boys were in massive trouble, as they had made themselves way too many enemies at this point. Now they were clueless about how to tackle the situation. Either there would have to be a truce, or they would have to make one of them their allies.
