Fake Profile seasons one and two are suggestive and unnecessarily titillating. This Colombian Netflix Original is about a woman who wants to get back at the man who wronged her. She ends up finding out a lot more about him than she expected, and all hell breaks loose as a result of her digging deep into his family life. Season one had a dramatic ending, and it paved the way for the next one. Season two features the same characters, and they carry the story forward to a whole after dimension. There are some new characters as well who bring in new stories.

Camila

Carolina Miranda comes back as Camila, who had a hot and heavy affair with Miguel until he betrayed her. By the end of season one, both survived the incident, yet they moved on. Camila, in season two, is with David, a rich Colombian himself who is madly in love with her. She chooses to be with David because he is upfront with her about his love for her. She doesn’t feel the need to chase him to seek his love. Everything is smooth for her until Miguel decides to come back and crashes into her life like a car. Camila says she is not interested in pursuing him, but her sessions with her therapist, Joaquin, say otherwise. Camila still has vivid erotic dreams about Miguel, and she is unable to decipher the meaning behind them. To top that, she is being questioned in the case of a murder where the killer used her stage name to trap and kill the victim. Camila’s mind is all over the place, and she is unable to make a steady decision even though she married David.

Miguel

Rodolfo Salas reprises his role as Miguel, who was obligated to marry Angela because of her father’s money. He lied to Camila back in Las Vegas and did not expect her to show up in Colombia looking for him. Angela was the mother of his children, yet he chose to have an affair with Camila by lying to her. The situation snowballed into a huge matter, which led to him and Camila eventually breaking up. In season two, Miguel comes across as an entitled man who is after Camila and forces himself on her. Camila makes it clear she doesn’t want him in her life, but he goes after her as if he is emotionally and physically dependent on her for everything. He wants to be a good father to his children, and on the other hand, he refuses to let go of Camila and continues stalking her to the point she eventually sleeps with him, which jeopardizes her marriage to David.

David

Lincoln Palomeque is David, Camila’s fiancé, who is a supportive partner. He is not jealous of her successful business, a strip club she runs in Colombia. Unlike Miguel, David does not play hot and cold with her, and he is an emotionally available partner who looks after all of Camila’s needs. David goes out of his way to support all of her decisions and stands by her when he learns of Miguel stalking her. He never questioned Camila’s loyalty and chose to believe her every step of the way. David was a good person who did not deserve to be treated badly by anyone, especially Camila, who can’t seem to forget Miguel despite her vocally hating him.

Joaquin

Mark Lewis, as Joaquin Duval, is a new character introduced in the second season of Fake Profile. He is Camila’s counselor who is helping her to get over the trauma she faced after learning Miguel had constructed an elaborate lie to get her in his bed. Joaquin comes across as a concerned counselor in the start, but gradually, he is revealed to be a creep who recorded all of his sessions with Camila and uses it for self-gratification. Joaquin, instead of helping Camila to get out of her dilemma dealing with Miguel, pushes her to follow her instinct. He never asked her not to ponder her past and choose David over her ex-boyfriend.

Angela

Manuela González reprises her role as Angela Ferrer, who, at the end of the first season, is sent to prison for accidentally murdering her father. In the second season, she is out of prison and planning to lead a normal life with her children. Angela and Miguel are divorced, and she is planning to take over her father’s real estate business. Tragedy struck her when her brother Adrian was found dead, and a few days later, her half-brother Cristobal was killed as well. Angela’s life was turned upside down. As police investigations begin, she is sure it is Camila who killed two of her family members. The police are clueless, and they are sure the case might take them to a dead end.

Angela is not happy with Santiago running her father’s company and chooses to befriend Vanessa, his wife. However, things go south when Angela and Vanessa fall in love, even though she shows interest in Emmanuel, her new neighbor. Angela is all over the place, and she is keen on making sure she gets what she wants by the end of the day.

Inti

Julián Cerati is back to portray the role of Inti, who was hired by Andrian and Angela’s father, Pedro. Inti was an escort in the first season who was hired by Pedro to create a wedge between Adrian and Cristobal. Inti turned out to be a gold digger, and he was attracted to Angela as well. Inti, in the second season, is good friends with Camila and wants to be in touch with her. Angela still hates him and is interested in keeping him around in her life. To his shock, Inti is a prime suspect in Adrian and Cristobal’s murder, and he is sent to prison until a full investigation is concluded. Since Inti was gay, he ended up having a horrible time in prison.

Erika

Maria Daniela Sarria is Erika, Camila’s best friend, who does not ever live by her side. Erika also helps Camila run the adult club she started in Colombia, and they treat each other like siblings. Erika is the first person who doubts Camila is unfaithful to David and conveys the same to his best friend. However, she, along with David, supports her dream of starting another adult club in Mexico, but things do not go well when they travel outside of Colombia.
