Bel-Air, the Peacock Original show, is a spinoff of the very popular NBC show The Fresh of Prince Bel-Air. The original show was focused on Will Smith. Bel-Air is all about the affluent African American community living in the most high-end neighborhood in California. As the third season of the series concludes, the show does a good job of talking about various issues faced by African Americans in general and the personal lives of all the characters related to the Banks’ family. Season three had multiple conclusions in relation to all the lead characters of the show.

Hillary and Lamarcus were now married. During their honeymoon, she found him unconscious just weeks after he’d recovered from his heart ailment. Vivian found out she was pregnant for the fourth time, and that could change things for the couple. Will was upset to find his father had disappeared yet again without informing him. However, as soon as he was out of the building, he was kidnapped by a bunch of people. Geoffrey left a note for Phil, informing him he wanted to spend time with Penelope and Frederick, his family. Carlton was coming to terms with Amira leaving for Boston for intense rehab for her depression and drug abuse. This article is merely speculative, based on the assumptions made by the writer after watching the season three finale. The makers of Bel-Air have not released any official statement about the next season, which could answer the question left open by the season three conclusion.
Bel-Air season 4 would begin by focusing on the situation between Hillary and Lamarcus. There is a possibility of him passing because of his underlying heart condition. Lamarcus may have learned he might not live long, which is why he wanted to get married to Hillary within a week so that he could spend his last days with her. He may have chosen to not relay this information to his family or Hillary to avoid any sentimental drama. Hillary will be devastated, but she will always know Lamarcus loved her and she loved him. This eventful change in Hillary’s life will be introduced to pave the way for her to make up with Jazz. There is a possibility Jazz will show up for her, and they will rekindle their romance after he gives Hillary some time to grieve the loss of the person she loved the most. Hillary will go back to immerse herself in cooking and becoming an influencer. Will’s kidnapping could be the central plot of the first two episodes, in which many details about the kidnapper and their motive will come up. It could be either related to his father, Lou, or Will’s nemesis in Philadelphia, Rashad Denton, who was alive as seen in the second season. Uncle Phil will step up to save Will from the situation just like in the past, and this subplot might affect his life in school. It could also hamper his college applications as well.
Vivian is pregnant for the fourth time with Phil’s child, and this could change a lot in their lives. Both were looking forward to a quiet future once all their children were out of the house. Phil and Vivian might not see this as good news, but since Phil promised to be a better person after the Erica debacle, he will work with Vivian to make the pregnancy as easy as possible. Carlton in the next season will be in his final year of school, and his life will be about academics, BlackCcess, and college applications. He will make sure nothing distracts him during this crucial year of his life. The distance between him and Amira might take a toll on the love both have for each other. Since Amira is in Boston for a rehab program, they might put an end to the relationship as well to focus on issues pertaining to themselves. He could also visit Boston to surprise Amira, but this move may not work in his favor. Ashley and Eli were slowly falling in love with each other as they had begun to enjoy each other’s company. Both engaged themselves in writing song lyrics about the struggles of the African American community, more specifically about the queer population.Â
Ashley, until recently, had presented herself as someone who was into girls, but showing interest in Eli helped her expand her choices even though she is too young to make major life decisions. Since the teen years are the time to understand one’s sexuality, she is letting herself be open. This might be Ashley’s arc in the next season. She and Eli are trying to figure out their relationship and what they want from each other. Hillary might end up spending a lot of time with Ashley to get a grip over what her sister wants from her life. Lisa, Will’s girlfriend, will also give most of her time to swimming as she is back focusing on becoming a national-level champion swimmer. Will might go out of his way to support her, but there could be a problem again in their relationship as Jackie might return.Â
Jackie also had the habit of stirring things up between Will and Lisa, as she was still attracted to him. After the kidnapping scenario, Will might go back to focusing on getting his hands into BlackCcess and look for college options. Since Carlton and Lisa were sure about what they wanted to do, Will might have a hard time figuring out what he wants to do in life.
