U.S. Marshals Arrest Man Sought for Parental Kidnapping

December 23, 2009 – A Phoenix man sought for the Parental Kidnapping of his nine year-old daughter was arrested by members of the U.S. Marshals-led Child Predator Apprehension Team (CPAT), and Detectives with the Tempe Police Department at a residence in Phoenix. Earl Nelson, 35, was wanted by the Schenectady (New York) Police Department after it was alleged that Nelson traveled from Phoenix to New York, kidnapped his nine year-old daughter from her mother, and returned to Phoenix.
